Hey coach; love the content. Would like your perspective on Evers and the playbook and what led to him hitting the portal. Longo/yourself pretty clear there are only like 25 core plays that are the genius/simplicity of the offense, so how does someone not know the playbook to get reps? What was missing here with protections or other concepts that just put him so far behind?
What a great question! So great that I'm going to dedicate my next full written piece on here to that exact question. But in short the best way I can describe it is seeing beyond you are seeing. it's like going to an art museum and looking at a painting on the wall. You might see a sailboat, but a student of the artist can see the pain behind each brush stroke and the subtle use of color that conveys emotion.
I think with Evers like a lot of young QBs his previous coaches were intoxicated by him athletic ability and forgot to teach him out to play QB. This lead to poor footwork and bad habits that put him out of sync with a very rhythm based offense. Having played in another Air Raid offense at Oklahoma likely he spent a lot of time thinking "this is what we called ____" in his head during plays which put in a step behind instead of learning the actual system. This is of course all speculation, but it would vibe with what we are hearing about his time in Madison.

Commercially, and I'm not trying to discount value here, but Temple and Flood put out a lot of great stuff and the introductory pricing on that is like a dollar a month for a year. Without knowing what you are trying to build out, hard to pledge, but am a fan......
Monetizing my content on here is unfortunately difficult due to my danish bank account not playing nice with the payment system so for the time being its not really an option. There are options on YouTube for me now that I will explore as we get into the season and I get back to my bread and butter content...again more hoops to run through to get there but I'll try! Until then PayPal is my only realistic option although to be honest it's not really a goal of mine to make money off of my content...I leave that to the real professionals!
