Coach Fickell awarded the Oline Offensive Player(s) of the Week on Twitter after the Rutgers game. After watching your Rutgers videos and commentary about the Oline during that game, I’m wondering why he would single them out for praise?
For a couple reasons: First that even with as bad as they may have been at times against Rutgers they still allowed us to put up over 200 yards rushing against the best rush defense we have faced all year. Second you can tell he is a player's coach and he focuses on praising players for what they do right instead of bringing them down for what they do wrong. Now behind closed doors in the offensive line meeting room I guarantee Jack Bicknell Jr. has torn them up with Luke Fickell right there to bring them back up and reminding them they can be better.
